A living AR monument
When Google chose to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Pride with a massive AR monument, we designed photo activations at Google offices and events worldwide that enabled users to upload their own content for inclusion. We set up stations with Hypno cameras that allowed the user to shoot their own images in front of custom-designed backgrounds. They could then personalize photos with their unique stories before uploading them to the living digital monument, alongside historic and topical LGBTQ content reflecting the past, present and future of Pride.
